We put Swiffer Down July 8th , and Denise called the 9th saying Swiffer’s ashes are ready . We were so Happy we were getting ready for holidays July 11th and Taking Swiffer with us . It has taken me a while to write this as I had to put down both of my dogs within 24 hours of each other and they were... almost 17 and 18. the first one was arranged and Denise came to our house after the vet and she was amazing and so compassionate. I've known her for a few years now through the Quinte Humane Society as she takes care of our cremations there as well when needed, and I knew she was the one I needed to take care of my babies. When I spoke to her the next day about my other dog possibly also crossing the rainbow bridge, she didn't hesitate to offer to put them in the same urn. She also picked her up directly from the vet. Not to mention they came back to me very quickly and she dropped them off at my workplace as well beautifully packaged and cared for. I recommend her to everyone! You really couldn't ask for a nicer or more compassionate person to look after your pets when their time has come. 💖read more

Denise at Brighton pet creamtions really helped make having to put my amazing pup Safire of 17 years down a little less... heartbreaking knowing she's in the best hands possible and was brought home quickly to us. Along with her pup sister Dakota of 18 years who was also cremated here and were put into the same beautiful cremation box . I got the most gorgeous necklace with my pups ashes in it and talk to it each day along with the clay and paper pawprints of our girls. You truly helped make our grieving process a better experience. Denise and her father Dennis made a very tough and sad time a little easier for me. When I lost my cat Benny... unexpectedly and quickly it felt very overwhelming, and hard to know what to do next. Dennis was careful to explain the process and made me feel comfortable to leave Benny in their care. Brighton Pet Cremations has many testamonials from families who have been touched by their thoughtful, respectful and... compassionate care of pets and their families. Our experience was just the same. Denise was prompt in returning our call for help at 9:30 Friday night. She provided information about Veterinarian Dr Singh who does compassionate and caring euthanasia. He also was kind, prompt and contacted us at 10:30 pm to set up a euthanasia time the next day at our request. Ultimately our pet died without medical intervention and we travelled to the Brighton pet crematorium where Denise met us Saturday morning. The facility is clean and welcoming, set in a quiet peaceful environment just outside the village of Brighton. Their broad experience with the full range of cremation services was obvious from the first moment I spoke to Denise on the phone. There was no pressure to purchase additional options and the final cost was much less than we paid last time for another of our pets. Our family was completely comfortable with Denise and felt immediately that our beloved pet would be treated with dignity and respect. For us, this was the single-most important aspect of the care from Brighton Pet Crematorium. I can’t think of even one thing that they could have done better. Sunday I came home from work and found my Great Dane had passed away. I called Denise and she and her dad were at my... home to pick up my pet as soon as she shovelled out her car. It was only a matter of minutes. They were so companionate and gentle with my big guy. I can’t thank Brighton Pet Cremations (BPC) enough for the service that they provided in saying our final goodbye to... our most beloved family member. We have always had our apprehensions with the large pet crematorium. BPC was exactly what we were looking for in the final ceremony of our cherished Memphis. We were able to bring Memphis ourselves, stay with him, and leave with him. We didn’t have to drop him off at our vet or a third party pet bereavement company, pay a costly markup, wait 2-3 weeks, and question whether or not we were receiving his (and only his) cremains. Understandably, our selected service type (of many offered by BPC) may not be for everyone but we were able to get the close and personal goodbye that we had hoped for. I can’t recommend their service enough.read more

I have nothing but love for this company. I was flipping back and forth between the cremation services my vet offered... and Brighton Pet Cremation. In the end, I decided I liked the idea of a local company handling my precious boy's remains rather than shipping him off to a big city where who knows what would've happened to him. I also loved the fact I could bring his body home for a little while to show my other dog that he had passed. She came to my home and at the agreed time, then had him back to me the next day.
