I highly recommend BPC. Denise is awesome, very caring and compassionate. Our precious Bichon, Samantha, was diagnosed... with cancer 9 months ago. She was her playful self until almost the end of March when she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. This is my first cremation of a pet and Denise was very helpful. We chose a private cremation which included a beautiful urn complete with a brass plate with her name on it and a Certificate of Private Cremation.read more

My beloved Border Collie mix Eevee fought Cancer for 6 months. Her battle ended in the middle of the night on Feb 29th,... 2024. She passed away in my arms surrounded by her family.

Once morning came, I gave Brighton Pet Cremations a call, and they were very quick to let us bring her to them that morning. She was cremated the same day along with her favorite Hedgie toy and blanket. She was back home to us by the Monday.

We already had an urn coming in, so we got the simplest temporary one meant for spreading ashes, and they were lovely to accommodate still placing her in a satin bag for us for easy transfer. And we found the tube was perfect for holding her fur clippings we have kept of her.

Pricing is fair, and they were very respectful and quick service.read more

I want to give a big thank you to Denise for all she has done for me and my family this week. On Christmas afternoon I... had to bring my best friend of almost 14 years to be put down. I knew that I wanted to have Jake cremated as I want to have him around forever. I was contacted very quickly about picking out urn choices, I asked for a necklace as well as I would like to keep Jake close to me and she was more than happy to add a necklace. I just received my sweet boy back today and from the moment of opening the box I could tell how well taken care of he was. Everything is perfect and so very beautiful. Recently my beloved dog of 14 years, Angel passed away. She passed away on a Friday, I was able to bring her back home on the following Wednesday. On Halloween 2022 we had to make a hard decision to put our almost 15 year old pup down. We made numerous calls for... help and where able to get a mobile doctor and referral to Brighton Cremation and I am so happy that it worked out the way it did. Denise was so compassionate, respectful and all around amazing with my family and handling our Dog with care. She brought Cash into the office for us to have one last goodbye with him as a whole. Allowed us time to make a decision on the urn choice etc. she made us feel comfortable knowing our dog was being handled with compassion and dignity. She gifted us the best closure possible and we are forever great full that we had her services to help us with such a hard decision. We had him home in no time and that was the most meaningful moment in all of this. We where able to have our final moments with him this evening with our children at home in private. It has taken me a while to write this as I had to put down both of my dogs within 24 hours of each other and they were... almost 17 and 18. the first one was arranged and Denise came to our house after the vet and she was amazing and so compassionate. I've known her for a few years now through the Quinte Humane Society as she takes care of our cremations there as well when needed, and I knew she was the one I needed to take care of my babies. When I spoke to her the next day about my other dog possibly also crossing the rainbow bridge, she didn't hesitate to offer to put them in the same urn. She also picked her up directly from the vet. Not to mention they came back to me very quickly and she dropped them off at my workplace as well beautifully packaged and cared for. I recommend her to everyone! You really couldn't ask for a nicer or more compassionate person to look after your pets when their time has come. 💖read more

Denise at Brighton pet creamtions really helped make having to put my amazing pup Safire of 17 years down a little less... heartbreaking knowing she's in the best hands possible and was brought home quickly to us. Along with her pup sister Dakota of 18 years who was also cremated here and were put into the same beautiful cremation box . I got the most gorgeous necklace with my pups ashes in it and talk to it each day along with the clay and paper pawprints of our girls. You truly helped make our grieving process a better experience. No words can ever explain the pain we felt when we lost Brutus late last Thursday night, especially after also loosing... our wife & mother last Sunday on Brutus’ 10th birthday.
Denise was amazing! I called her at 11:00 p.m. Thursday night after Brutus had passed.
She was very empathetic towards both of our recent losses.
I know, no one wants to think about when the time comes and you loose your pet. Trust me, we were there not that long ago.

We lost our 9 year old Lab this past Thursday morning. I had remembered a few people had recommended "the place in... brighton" when needed a pet cremated. I called soon after Zoeys passing. Denise came into our home and handled our pup with such care. Losing a dog is heart breaking. Denise and her father Dennis made a very tough and sad time a little easier for me. When I lost my cat Benny... unexpectedly and quickly it felt very overwhelming, and hard to know what to do next.
Dennis was careful to explain the process and made me feel comfortable to leave Benny in their care.
It was a smooth process and it was nice to feel they also cared about Benny as much as my family did.
Benny passed away on Monday and he was returned home to us by Tuesday afternoon. ❤️

Thank you for being there and for making a difficult time, much easier to bare.

My world turned upside down after making a decision to let my Kita cross the rainbow bridge.

When I was at the... vet we made arrangements to have her cremated and picked my urn. the following morning I woke up panicked as I forgot to ask for her name to be placed in said urn. when I called Denise had already taken care of this for me. A small gesture with love and compassion for my Kita.

She was returned to me so quickly. the care, compassion and thoughtfulness has helped me through my grief.

Brighton Pet Cremations has many testamonials from families who have been touched by their thoughtful, respectful and... compassionate care of pets and their families.

Our experience was just the same. Denise was prompt in returning our call for help at 9:30 Friday night. She provided information about Veterinarian Dr Singh who does compassionate and caring euthanasia. He also was kind, prompt and contacted us at 10:30 pm to set up a euthanasia time the next day at our request. Ultimately our pet died without medical intervention and we travelled to the Brighton pet crematorium where Denise met us Saturday morning.

The facility is clean and welcoming, set in a quiet peaceful environment just outside the village of Brighton. Their broad experience with the full range of cremation services was obvious from the first moment I spoke to Denise on the phone. There was no pressure to purchase additional options and the final cost was much less than we paid last time for another of our pets.

Our family was completely comfortable with Denise and felt immediately that our beloved pet would be treated with dignity and respect. For us, this was the single-most important aspect of the care from Brighton Pet Crematorium.

I can’t think of even one thing that they could have done better. During a very difficult event, it was a ray of sunshine.

I wanted to take the time to say thank you for taking such good care of our beloved Maximus. He failed quickly for us... and it hit my family very hard. Upon arriving at the crematorium, Denise placed Maximus' body on a large table and left the room, giving my husband and I time to bring our small children in to say goodbye. It made a world of difference for our closure and I cannot thank you enough.

Denise was wonderful from start to finish and I am so thankful I found them. I highly recommend their services. They handled our boy with love and care throughout the whole process and even dropped his ashes home two days later. They are not only kind people, but honest and genuine. Their prices are very reasonable and most importantly, your loved one's remains will be handled with dignity and care.
